VP of Development
Drew Ruesch rejoined Collins Avenue in summer 2017. Prior to coming back on-board, he worked for Irwin Entertainment where he developed series for various networks including, "Mind Your Business with Mahisha" for OWN and "Funny People" on Fox. He also served as a Co-Producer for the 2016 New Year's Eve special with Carson Daly & Mel B on NBC. Before joining Irwin Entertainment, Drew served as the Director of Development for Collins Avenue. While serving, he developed FYI's "Stove Tots" as well as development projects for various networks including A&E, BET, Cooking, FYI, We and Oxygen.
Prior to that, he was the Manager of Development for Giant Pirates where he was instrumental in the development and series production of Cooking Channel's "Steak Out with Kix Brooks," Spike's "Trouble in Paradise," FYI's "The Feed" and multiple pilots and presentations for Discovery ID, Vh1, and TBS. He started his career at GRB Entertainment and worked on the following projects; WE's "Pregnant and Dating," TLC's "Wives with Beehives," NatGeo's "Showdown of the Unbeatables," Bio's "Model Killers" and "My Evil Sister," E! 's "Fame in the Family," Animal Planet's "Extreme Animal Obsessions," Discovery ID's "Twisted Tales of my 9 to 5" and Travel's "Scambushed."
As a California native, Drew is an alumnus of UCLA's School of Theater Film and Television, and currently, lives in the Southbay.
